“Not a debatable choice in my opinion, though the Cavs will probably Cleveland it up. Wiggins does things athletically that maybe a handful of NBA players can do. He scores in a ton of ways, he’s a demon in transition, and projects as a league average 3 point shooter. He needs to work on his handle and build on his frame, but he is still a once in a decade prospect. He wants to be great and has all the ability to be an all-timer. Wiggins has been overanalyzed all year, but pass on him at your own risk.” –Matthew Quammen

“The Bucks taking Parker at number two is pretty much a no-brainer, assuming Wiggins goes first. Milwaukee is desperate for a franchise-changing star and Parker has the potential to give them that.” –Andrew Lindmeier

PF, Indiana (2013-2014)
Height: 6'10" Weight: 240 |
“Noah Vonleh was utterly misused and abused in Tom Crean’s offense at Indiana. Now that we’ve seen pieces of what type of professional he can become, I think it’s tough for Philadelphia to overlook him at the third pick. Embiid may have a higher upside, but he also undoubtedly is a bigger risk. Vonleh moves and shoots like a guard and is, depending on your affinity for Julius Randle and Jarnell Stokes, the best rebounder in the draft. Scouts claim to see Chris Bosh in him, and ultimately I can’t disagree.” –Joseph Fafinski

"The Magic will have a tough decision between Dante Exum -- a PG who could make an instant impact off the bench -- and Embiid, a health risk who has been billed as the next Olajuwon. While Nikola Vucevic is already a solid option at center, Embiid is simply too tantalizing to pass up.” –Alex M. Smith

“Slipped past the other fake GM’s. Exum will not be there when Utah drafts tomorrow. He can flat out score, and by all accounts is a hard worker. He can play the two alongside Trey Burke, or gives Utah flexibility to move Burke. Bottom line, when you are shitty as all hell, like the Jazz, you take the best player. Exum is the best prospect on the board.” –Matthew Quammen

“Their frontline is garbage, and this will get them some much needed scoring to help Rondo, Bradley and MOST DEFINITELY NOT KEVIN LOVE.” –Dan Renfro

“Assuming the Lakers keep the seventh pick, I think LaVine is great value there. He's a freakishly athletic guard who would inject energy into the Lakers franchise with his highlight reel plays and energy.” --Andrew Lindmeier

“Yeah, it’ll create terrible chemistry and off-the-court troubles, but gosh darnit, I love it! Marcus Smart has a well-documented attitude problem, as does Kings center DeMarcus Cousins. What it boils down to is coupling Smart with Isaiah Thomas in the Sacramento backcourt. Smart’s excellent distribution and abilities and superb on-the-ball defense will help Thomas play his shooting game at a more acceptable level. Let’s set the over/under on fights stemming from Smart and Cousins next season at three. Also, I'm shocked Aaron Gordon hasn't been taken yet. Are we sure David Stern's not hiding somewhere?” --Joseph Fafinski

“The Hornets are stocked with young talent up and down the roster, but the backcourt needs a little more help than the front. Harris should complement a strong set of point guards well.” –Alex M. Smith

“Assuming they go with Vonleh in the frontcourt with their third pick, here's another guard (one that can shoot) to pair with MCW.” –Dan Renfro

“Doug has the ability to score from anywhere on the floor, and scored more efficiently than any other college player has with his usage rate. He’ll be able to translate to the NBA game; he’s too skilled not to. He has short arms and needs to get in better shape to defend, but showed off a 36 inch vertical at the combine. He’s not a total non-athlete, I like his chances of scoring 15 a game, and he fits well alongside Ty Lawson and the Manimal.” –Matthew Quammen

PF, Arizona (2013-2014)
Height: 6'9" Weight: 225 |
“If for some wild reason Aaron Gordon is on the board at number 12, I’d be shocked if the Magic passed on him. He could be a nice pairing with Vucevic and potentially Joel Embiid, if the Magic take him with their first pick.” –Andrew Lindmeier

PG, Louisiana-Lafayette (2011-2014)
Height: 6'3" Weight: 190 |
“Admittedly, this selection likely won’t occur tomorrow night. That being said, there were numerous times last season when I wanted to go full Latrell Sprewell on PJ Carlesimo mode on incumbent backup point guard JJ Barea. Pundits are hailing Elfrid Payton as the next Rondo, and for good reason—they share a very similar skill set and are pass-first floor generals.” –Joseph Fafinski

“Perfect fit as a flat out shooter to space the court for Derrick Rose (remember him?). Rodney knows how to play off a great player, like he did alongside Jabari at Duke, and still affect the game. He has the tools to defend, and Thibs will help him get there. He’s a great match alongside Jimmy Butler on the wing, or backing up Carmelo?” –Matthew Quammen

PG, Connecticut (2010-2014)

“I love Shabazz Napier to the Celtics at number 17, and think he has potential to be the steal of the draft. With Rondo's future with the C's up in the air, Napier would be a solid replacement.” –Andrew Lindmeier

PF, Michigan State (2010-2014)
Height: 6'10" Weight: 245 |
“At this point of the draft, Payne is a low-risk, high-reward option. He can shoot, rebound, and defend at acceptable levels. This is really a no-brainer for a team like Phoenix that could use some frontcourt depth.” –Joseph Fafinski

PF, Croatia

“Cleanthony is a great match for the Thunder. He has a man’s body and should be able to help them contend right away. He runs the floor like a deer, shoots the ball effectively, plays his ass off and knows how to win. He’d be a significant upgrade over Thabo Sefolosha, or Jeremy Lamb.” --Matthew Quammen

“Kyle Anderson has been projected as high as inside the top 10 in some mock drafts, and is certainly talented enough to give the Grizzlies confidence to take him if he falls this far. I like the fit with Anderson and the Grizz.” –Andrew Lindmeier

“Every NBA team needs a Jarnell Stokes. A fundamentally sound big man, he’ll rebound and defend efficiently. You won’t ever see him on SportsCenter’s Top 10 Plays. Not like that bothers Stokes, though. He’s in it for the victories.” –Joseph Fafinski

“After shoring up the backcourt with the No. 9 pick (Gary Harris), Charlotte can afford to boost their competition in the front with Capela, a defensive-minded Swiss with a big frame.” –Alex M. Smith

“The foreign import gives Miami a big banger they desperately need. Jusuf has been compared to a longer Nikola Pekovic. He might take some time to adapt to the NBA game, but as long as he comes in ready to do the banging that Chris Bosh can’t and finish assists from LeBron, he could be a huge steal at this point in the draft.” –Matthew Quammen

“There’s certainly nothing to go crazy about with this selection, but it does a fill a gaping need for the Clippers bench. Remembering that he would've served a one-year suspension after being caught with marijuana, it'd be appropriate to incorporate a pot joke here. Unfortunately, I'm caked." --Joseph Fafinski
